SCORE is a national nonprofit association dedicated to educating entrepreneurs and helping small businesses start, grow, and succeed nationwide.

Erie SCORE located in downtown Erie, Pennsylvania has more than 40 volunteers locally who provide FREE confidential mentoring to small business and non-profit groups in Northwestern Pennsylvania.

Its members have held positions in almost 50 different local companies and have experience in numerous business and management disciplines.  The volunteers of the chapter participated in over 600 mentoring sessions in 2009 with more than 200 clients.

SCORE is a resource partner of the Small Business Administration which provides numerous services to small business including guaranteeing loans from local banks.
